Baird Wondergram Battery Player
for 45 / 33 rpm records (not 78's)
1960's

Originally part of the Ian Calderbank Collection of Gramophones.
This Gramophone has been Sold, but the details might be of interest to fellow Collectors.
Wondergram

Wondergram open Wondergram playing
The player is in black plastic with gold Stylus arm, lid and top.
A Badge on the top states "Camp Bird, We serve to lead, WONDERGRAM". On the base is "World Patents applied for, Made in England, A Camp Bird Product".
It takes four 1.5V D-type Batteries, these are just normal batteries as used in torches. The Record Player plays both 45's and 33 rpm records, but not 78's.
Dimensions 4.5” Wide, 2.5” Deep 3.5" High (on its supporting legs).

Condition:- Condition:- Excellent original condition, sound quality debatable.

The battery polarity is sometimes not indicated on these models; the batteries are in two banks, with all positives pointing to the back of the unit
